Facebook is one of the top social networking media services in the world and U.S. Cellular customers are now able to interact with Facebook utilizing Facebook Text Messaging services.
Our customers have been asking for access to Facebook Text Messaging services. We have been working with Facebook to offer this product to our customers and are excited to launch another service that will allow our customers to stay in touch with those who matter most. With free incoming texts, staying connected to friends and family through Facebook is even easier.
Effective Thursday, February 11th 2010, all U.S. Cellular® subscribers who utilize Facebook will be able to update their status via text messaging and receive text alerts including status updates, messages & wall posts.
